Atlanta Bread Company - Much More Than Just Bread!

A Johnson County family, The Riekhof's are proud to bring this new variation of the Bakery-Cafe concept restaurant to the Kansas City area. The Lees' Summit location opened in November of 2003, and now the Overland Park store has opened! The reason that the Riekhof's Atlanta Bread stores are so unique is the broad range of hot menus and drink selections that are available to the guest. Most Atlanta Bread's across the nation only concentrate on bakery products and the lunch period, but here, all meals of the day are genuine options.

Breakfast is what will surprise you the most! After baking all night long, the restaurants open at 6am so that you can pair a warm pastry selection with one of the many egg dishes. Six different skillets prepared Omelets are featured along with a Florentine Frittata, Belgian Waffle, Biscuits and Gravy, and a Cinnamon Raison French Toast. And if you are in a hurry, the Breakfast Sandwiches are great TO GO with any one of the Cappuccino or Latte Drinks. The Cafe even serves breakfast until 1pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Dinner at Atlanta Bread is a great way to end your day! While the "Kids Meal" selections with a complimentary cookie make all the children happy, Mom and Dad can enjoy one of the comforting Pasta dishes complimented with a glass of wine. And the European Pizza oven bakes a perfect thin crust Pizza that can be highlighted with any one of the selections of beer. There are many traditional fresh crisp salads and All-American sandwiches, but don't forget the Panini's. These hot, grilled sandwiches served on the fresh-baked foccacia bread will satisfy any hearty appetite. Finish dinner and walk up to the bakery counter to pick out a slice of cheesecake to be shared by the fireplace. Day or night, the warm atmosphere makes for a truly pleasant dining experience.

CATERING is another service that Atlanta Bread Company offers the discerning client. Full-time staffs work out of both locations to Deliver off-premise dining needs all over the metropolitan area. The reliable crews work very hard to take all of the worry away. Riekhof's Atlanta Bread Company prides itself in participating in the community. Not only do the stores donate all of their unsold bread to local organizations, they also assist in raising fund for Educational Foundations on both sides of the state line.
